How do I change my notification settings and account information?

Click on your profile name and select settings from the drop-down menu. From here you can change your notification and personal settings, as well as you profile picture.


Can I link the Marketplace to my personal email?

You can't remove your school or company email from Modo Marketplace. However, you can add an email that can also receive notifications about posts, transactions, and messages. Click on your profile name and select settings from the drop-down menu. From here you can add an email to your account.


Requesting Information and Sharing


How do I share or refer a post?

We encourage you to share products with their friends and colleagues. Just click on the listing and select Share, then copy the link and send it to whoever you want! Please note that only people at your school or organization can view the link.


Pricing, Pictures, Descriptions, and Categories


Do I have to use my phone to upload pictures?

We recommend using your phone to upload pictures to the app. However, you can use your computer as well. Make sure you have the pictures on your device and you can upload the photos from there. Learn more about how to create a post here.


How should I describe my product or service? What tags should I include?

You should describe your post honestly; mention the current condition, color, its function, etc.


Do I have to include tags with my post?

You don't have to, but we recommend that you include tags that categorize your post in order to improve marketability and buyer interest.
